Could it simply be the job protectionist argument is proving popular in our current economy? As stated, this has alternative costs that many are not factoring.  Education is going to be crucial and also the ability for developed countries to set aside luxuries for sustainability.  For example, shifting our fruit and vegetable consumption based on season which avoids my avocado being shipped from South American in the winter.  I am fine without having that avocado and living on what is available locally which is where we need to get to as a society.</p>]]></description></item></channel></rss>
